This well-respected and much sought after 1976 Kawasaki KZ900A4 has recently been imported from North America where it's spent all its life.
It appears to be missing just it's tool tray and air silencer, but we did note that the exhausts are non-standard and are stained.
The bike has been repainted but has been finished superbly in what would have been the original colour, Diamond Dark Green, when new some 48 years ago.
The wheels, forks, yokes, and frame look straight.
Chrome work throughout is bright with no signs of pitting.
The instruments look ok, and the switches move freely.
The seat cover is torn but the base is solid, and the foam feels ok.
The tank looks useably clean inside and feels solid.
The carburettor is free sliding off the twist grip.
When we hooked it up to a boost battery and fed fresh fuel through the carb, we had it starting, running, and revving but be advised that the carb was leaking.
